Sid appears in the third issue of the Monsters, Inc.: Laugh Factory comics, where he was using the Monsters, Inc. door system to steal toys from other children. He ducks into Boo's room to escape from Mike and Sulley during a chase, and Boo follows him into the factory to help them capture Sid. He is later caught and turned in to the CDA, where he claims that he was only doing it to prevent other children to suffer the same fate he did, in which he discovered that toys could come alive. He is then thrown back into his home through his sister's door.
In the fourth issue, Sid finds his way back into Monstropolis and assists Randall and Mr. Waternoose in breaking out of prison. He plans to become rich off of the door-travelling system, Monsters, Inc. uses, and to help Randall and Mr. Waternoose give him the plans for it. Mike, Sulley, Boo and Celia capture him before he can carry out his plan, and peace is restored once again.
Sid is evil, and stole several toys from other children in the human world.
Sid has a peach skin tone, and flaming red hair.
- Sid is carried over from Pixar's first film, Toy Story, a film in which he is the main antagonist.
