Earl "The Terror" Thompson was a famous scarer working at Monsters, Inc., who had a particularly long career, continuing to scare at old age.

He appears two times in Monsters University: a younger Earl can be seen during the prologue during young Mike's field trip. Much later, the OKs see him during their "field trip" to Monsters, Inc.

He is a blue monster with four eyes and a dark blue mustache resembling himself a tarantula.
